How to change your font in Tana

In today's digital age, personalization has become more than just a trend – it's a way to express your unique identity and preferences in the tools you use daily. From changing the wallpaper on your smartphone to tweaking the layout of your favorite apps, customization is the name of the game. But what if we told you that you can take personalization even further by altering the font of your favorite tool, Tana. Thanks to the ingenious work of a developer and Tana Ambassador Andrea, we have had Tana Enhancer for some time now, a simple yet powerful extension that lets you customise your font (as well as other things but for this case the focus will be on fonts in specific).

Since the release of Tana's early access, it has become an indispensable tool for many. While it's already a favorite among users, the desire to make it truly your own by customizing its appearance is a sentiment shared by many. And it's here that Tana Enhancer steps in, offering a delightful solution to transform your Tana experience. In this blog post, we'll dive into a super quick guide on how you can use Tana enhancer to customize the look of your workspace by changing the font  allowing you to craft the perfect ambiance for your work

Installing Tana Enhancer

The very first step is to install the Tana enhancer extension. This can be found by clicking here. Once this step is complete head over and open up the extension. At the very top you will see a text box asking you to insert the name of any font installed in your machine. Now how do you get the fonts you might be asking. Well its simple

Getting a font

Getting a font is super easy especially with the availability of the Google Fonts free font database that has a lot of amazing fonts to pick from. All you have to do is head over to the Google Fonts website pick a font you like and select download. Once the download is complete make sure to head over to your downloads and double click on the font file to install (I have a Mac and this is how it works on a Mac device but after searching I found out that the process of installing a font is the same on Windows as well, if this isn't the case please feel free to comment down below as this could help someone out there).

Adding the font to your Tana workspace

Once the fonts is installed all you have left to do is to head over to the Tana Enhancer extension and input the name of the font you downloaded as it appears on your device and hit save

Once this step is complete Tana will reload and voila your font will now be set. Incase these steps didn't seem to work please comment down below and I will be sure to find a solution for you

NOTE: If you use Tana on Google chrome then you will have to complete these steps on your chrome browser for the effects to take place on the Tana web app. And if you use other browsers such as Arc then you will have to complete these steps on Arc Browser. Please note that this customisation is super cool but the team has stated that at times it tends to break something. Personally,  I have had no issues at all and have been using a customized font on my Tana for a while now

Enjoy your new workspace look
